Jonathon Lyons

Assistant Controller

As an Assistant Controller, Jonathon works with recurring client teams to ensure the timely completion of daily accounting functions and month end close processes. He loves working with multiple clients allowing them to focus on growth and becoming leaders in their respective industry verticals.

Prior to joining Compass East, Jonathon spent five years in the transportation service industries as a Senior Accountant for Enterprise Rental Car and three years in the construction/logistics industry at Cotton GDS as an Accounting Manager.

Jonathon currently lives in Wallis, Texas outside of Houston. He earned his Bachelor’s in Accounting with a Minor in Criminal Justice from Southwestern College. Outside of work, Jonathon loves sports, either playing golf or attending live sporting events. When he’s not attending games, he’s out on the softball field coaching his daughter’s team!
