Makenzie Shelton

Makenzie received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting and a BS in Forensic Science from the University of Central Oklahoma and is a licensed Certified Fraud Examiner.Prior to joining Compass EAST, Makenzie was in public accounting for almost five years as an external auditor working with private, nonprofit, and government entities. Makenzie also worked for a bank as an internal auditor for two and a half years.
Makenzie was born and raised in the Oklahoma City metro area where she still currently resides. Outside of work, Makenzie loves to travel with her fiancé John. She has been to all 50 states and is in the process of visiting all the national parks. She has a goal to do the Rim-to-Rim hike of the Grand Canyon this year. Her next big adventure will be to scuba dive on all 7 continents and see as many countries as possible along the way.
